The Founder
Embodying our founder, Dr. Richard E. Caruso's mission of mentoring, REC Studio produces local, original video content centered around the theme of mentoring, entrepreneurship, education, innovation, and technology.
About Dr. Caruso
Uncommon Individual Foundation
Founded in 1986, the Uncommon Individual Foundation is a nonprofit leader in mentor-based learning. A successful entrepreneur, and former CEO of Integra Life Sciences, Dr. Caruso attributes his entrepreneurial success to the mentors he encountered throughout his life. UIF is his way of ‘mentoring it forward,’ to help individuals and organizations succeed through curated connections to mentors.

Our Team
Lucy Lopez
Director

Lucy is a communications expert who brings more than 15 years of Journalism experience to UIF REC Studio.  Prior to launching the studio, Lucy worked as a reporter and anchor in Canada for CTV News in Northern Ontario and Corus Entertainment. Lucy worked in Toronto – Canada’s largest media market – for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), where she covered local and national stories for television, radio, and the web.  In addition to her accomplishments as a broadcast reporter and video journalist, Lucy worked behind the camera as a writer, producer, and editor.

Mike Wroblewski
Assistant Director
Mike is a graduate of Drexel University who brings more than 25 years of experience in many disciplines of Graphic Design to UIF REC Studio.  Mike has worked in video production within healthcare, nonprofit, and technology industries. He is currently an Adjunct Instructor at Delaware County Community College, where he teaches Motion Graphics and Digital Imaging. Mike is eager to share his Design knowledge with the UIF community.
